Hon. Eric Edem Agbana Hosts Over 500 Women at Special Mother’s Day Lunch in Ketu North

Tadzewu, Ketu North, May 11, 2025. In a vibrant and emotional celebration of motherhood and community strength, the Member of Parliament for Ketu North, Hon. Eric Edem Agbana, together with his wife, hosted over 500 women from across the constituency to a special Mother’s Day lunch.




The event, held in Tadzewu , was organized to honour the resilience, sacrifices, and contributions of women in Ketu North. It featured lively moments of music, dancing, and shared meals, creating an atmosphere of warmth and appreciation.

In his address, Hon. Agbana expressed deep admiration for the women, stating, “Their daily struggles and aspirations continue to inspire me. I remain their son and humbly ask for their prayers and support as we strive to make Ketu North a better place for all.”

As a highlight of the event, Hon. Agbana presented cloths to all women aged 70 and above in attendance, recognizing their enduring contributions to their families and the constituency.


The gathering was graced by several distinguished guests, including the CEO of MASLOC, Hon. Abigail Elorm Mensah; the Regional Women Organizer of the NDC, Hon. Fafa Agbai; former Deputy Regional Women Organizer, Madam Akusika Akpene; and a host of constituency women organizers from neighbouring constituencies.

Hon. Agbana expressed heartfelt gratitude for the support and love he continues to receive from the women of Ketu North, remarking, “I am a product of community support, and I do not take for granted the affection and encouragement I receive from these amazing mothers.”

The Mother’s Day event served not only as a celebration but also as a reaffirmation of Hon. Agbana’s commitment to uplifting the lives of women and strengthening community bonds in Ketu North.
