
The Nigerian Institute of Town Planners (NITP), Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Chapter, has been confirmed as a distinguished panelist at the upcoming PAGMACA 2026 in Abuja.
The announcement was made by The Papyrus Global, organisers of the high-level conference scheduled to take place from April 29 to May 1, 2026.
The event is expected to convene mayors, local government chairpersons, policymakers, development partners, and thought leaders from over 20 countries across Africa, reinforcing its position as a key platform for dialogue on governance, development, and sustainability.
The NITP delegation will be led by its FCT Chapter Chairman, TPL Queen Imalue Philips, who is expected to bring her extensive professional experience to bear on discussions during the conference.
The Institute will participate in a high-level panel session focused on the theme “Urban Planning & Population Growth,” a critical topic in addressing the growing challenges of rapid urbanisation, increasing infrastructure demand, and sustainable city development across Nigeria and the African continent.
