President John Dramani Mahama will today, March 24, 2025, inaugurate the newly constituted Armed Forces Council in a ceremony aimed at strengthening the administration and strategic oversight of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF).
The Armed Forces Council plays a crucial role in advising the President on key military matters, including defence policy, military administration, and operational readiness. The newly formed body is expected to provide strategic direction to enhance national security.
