Former President John Agyekum Kufuor recently shared an important idea: if someone breaks the law, they should face the consequences. This means that everyone must follow the rules, even when they are upset and want to protest.
Protesting is when people gather to express their feelings about something they believe is wrong. It’s okay to speak up, but we must remember that there are limits. Mr. Kufuor said that while people have the right to demonstrate, they cannot break the law while doing it.
For example, during a recent protest by a group called the Democracy Hub, their leader, Oliver Barker-Vormawor, was seen taking the keys from a police van. This action led to his arrest because it was against the law.
So, while it’s important to share our opinions and stand up for what we believe in, we must do it in a way that respects the rules. By following the law, we can make our voices heard in a positive way!
