Adwoa Safo again?

We are all surprised by Adwoa’s assertion regarding the Oquaye report.

Is the report a compilation of people’s perceptions, or is it solely the Chairman’s views? She had the opportunity to attend the constituency event to state her opinion or submit her contributions in writing. So why go on the radio to lie? All party members and key figures have submitted their opinions, ideas, and recommendations to the committee. Why not do the right thing? Is the NPP incapable of dealing with this betrayal once and for all?

Clearly, she still lacks a true understanding of political loyalty and remains more interested in her personal agenda rather than the party’s collective interest.

Secondly, if a caucus agrees to support the E-Levy, a loyal politician elected on party lines cannot simply say, “My father and my church disagree, so I went against my party.” The right thing to do in such a case is to resign from the party and stand as an independent candidate representing your church.

This is the same attitude she displayed when she voted against the party’s choice for Speaker. Did her father and her church disagree again? The NDC enforced their party whip, yet she ignored the NPP’s whip and voted against our interest. This single act was the beginning of our loss of control in the legislature and ultimately contributed to our defeat in the 2024 elections.

Adwoa was not only a major reason for the NPP's loss in her constituency, but her behavior was also a national disgrace that negatively impacted the party across the country. Her dancing and messages on TikTok, which mocked the NPP, the President, the Chairman, the Leader, the Chief of Staff, the Dome-Kwabenya constituency, and NPP members, irritated many—especially millennials and Gen Z voters.

This interview proves that her apology to the party and its leadership was insincere and should be disregarded.

She is the most selfish politician in the history of the NPP.
