EDA Logistics and partners complete renovation project at Avornyokope School

EDA Logistics with their business partners have commissioned a renovated three-unit classroom block and canteen at Avornyokope Community Calvary Baptist Basic School in the Domeabra-Obom constituency. The project is part of the company's commitment to supporting education and promoting inclusive economic growth in Ghana.

The renovated facility, made possible through a partnership with Rubis Asphalt FZCO and ERES Togo, will provide a conducive learning environment for hundreds of children and ensure that no child learns on an empty stomach.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, CEO of EDA Logistics, Eric Dziedzom Akukumah expressed the company's pride in being part of the project. "We are gathered today not just to mark the commissioning of a renovated classroom, but to celebrate the opening of a new universe of possibilities," he said.

"This facility is a testament to the power of collaboration and the impact of public-private partnerships in driving transformative change in our communities."

The event was attended by the Member of Parliament for Domeabra-Obom, Honourable Isaac Awuku Yibor, Representatives of Rubis Apshalt FZCO and ERES Togo, the traditional council, the Director of Education, Domeabra-Obom, and other dignitaries.

The CEO of EDA Logistics called on the government and other stakeholders to partner with the private sector to drive economic growth and transform the nation. "The success of this project is living proof that when the private sector, organizations, traditional authorities, and government work together, we can achieve extraordinary results," Eric Akukumah added.
