A series of reports on the indiscriminate littering along the Lapaz Highway by renowned sanitation advocate Christopher Agbodo Ranson, popularly known in showbiz circles as “Virgin Blogger”, has finally yielded positive results.
Following his consistent advocacy, waste management company Zoomlion has stepped in to clear all the filth that had plagued the busy highway.
Christopher Agbodo Ranson, who is currently leading a national sanitation campaign dubbed *Project Clean Ghana*, has been using his platform to highlight neglected areas suffering from poor waste management. His efforts are not only raising awareness but also prompting swift action from both government and private sanitation bodies.
In addition to Zoomlion’s intervention, the Buzstop Boys—known for their volunteer cleanup activities—also played a commendable role with their quick response to the situation.
The cleanup at Lapaz stands as a testament to the impact of civic responsibility and media-driven advocacy. Virgin Blogger’s determination continues to inspire many, proving that collective action can lead to lasting change.
As “Project Clean Ghana” gains momentum, more citizens and organizations are being called upon to contribute to building a cleaner, healthier Ghana for all.
