The provisional results of candidates who sat for the first series of the 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination for Private Candidates have been released, the management of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) announced on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

To view your results, follow these steps:

Step 1: Purchase a WAEC Result Checker PIN

To access your results, you will need a WAEC result checker PIN. You can obtain one through the following options:

Step 2: Check Your Results

After obtaining your PIN and serial, follow these instructions to check your results:

1. Open your phone’s web browser (e.g., Chrome or Safari) and visit the official WASSCE results portal: https://ghana.waecdirect.org.

2. Enter your Index Number in the provided field.

3. Choose the Examination Type (e.g., WASSCE Private).

4. Select your Examination Year (e.g., 2026).

5. Input the Serial Number found on your Result Voucher.

6. Enter the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) from your Result Voucher (e.g., 012345678912).

7. Double-check your Index Number and Examination Year to ensure the information is accurate.

8. Click on the Submit button.

9. Agree to the terms by clicking "Agree".

10. Wait for your Nov/Dec or WASSCE for Private results to appear in the pop-up window.
