The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has directed candidates whose 2026 WASSCE for School Candidates results have been withheld to visit its official irregularity portal for further information.
The notice, published by WAEC on September 4, 2026, asks affected candidates to visit https://irreg.waecgh.org/ and select the Candidate Login option to view details relating to suspected examination malpractice and the status of their cases.
Meanwhile, candidates preparing to check their results once WAEC officially announces the release can get their result checker ready in advance.
A valid WASSCE Result Checker containing a serial number and PIN can be purchased by dialling *713*5388# or visiting https://expresscheckers.com/
The purchased checker should be kept safe and used only when WAEC officially publishes the 2026 WASSCE results online.
Candidates should also note that purchasing another result checker will not resolve a withheld result. Those affected by a withholding decision should instead follow the instructions provided through WAEC’s irregularity portal.
