Kwame Baffoe, also known as Abronye, the Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has sent a strong warning to anyone he believes could contest the NPP's predicted win in the next elections.
Abronye warned that anyone trying to thwart the NPP's victory in the Bono Region would suffer severe repercussions while addressing a sizable gathering of party supporters during a "Regional Victory Walk" in Wenchi.
"The betrayers will suffer the same fate as the victims of the 2020 Techiman election shooting, which left three people dead and six critically injured," he vowed.
In his address, Abronye touched on the party’s confidence in securing a clear win in the general election, urging opponents to abandon any plans to challenge the outcome.
He firmly stated that any interference would not be met lightly.
Meanwhile, NPP National Chairman Stephen Ayensu Ntim also addressed the gathering, rallying supporters in the Wenchi Constituency to reclaim the parliamentary seat.
He noted the symbolic significance of the constituency as the home of K.A. Busia, a founding figure of the NPP, and encouraged supporters to honor his legacy through their electoral success.
