Accident on Odumasi Three-Lane road leaves 6 injured, one fighting for life

Six individuals were injured, one critically, in a road accident at Odumasi on the three-lane highway in the Asante Akyem Central Municipality.

The crash happened when a Chevrolet Spark taxi (registration number GE 9167-23) tried to overtake and crashed into two trucks—a MAN diesel truck (GR 5774) and a flatbed truck (GW 5462-24).

Eyewitnesses reported that the taxi was traveling from Konongo to Nobewam, while the flatbed truck was coming from the opposite direction (Kumasi to Konongo).

The critically injured victim was taken to Agogo Presbyterian Hospital for urgent care. The other five victims, who had minor injuries, received treatment at Hope Care Specialist Hospital in Ohene Nkwanta and were later discharged.
