We are expecting the 2026 WASSCE provisional results to be announced any day now. When the official press release drops, here is what it will cover:
Access: School heads will get portal logins to download results, and students can check their scores on the WAEC website.
Security: Candidates are urged to ignore scammers claiming they can alter results, as WAEC results are fully verifiable.
Malpractice: The release will detail the sanctions approved by the Ghana Examinations Committee, including subject cancellations for bringing materials, full cancellations for phone possession, and withheld results for ongoing collusion investigations (which should be finalized by late September).
Staff Actions: It will also confirm that several teachers have been convicted in court for compromising the exam, with others facing the police and potential disciplinary action from the Ghana Education Service.
Acknowledgments: The statement will wrap up with a vote of thanks to all stakeholders involved in the process.
