Lebrecht James Chinery-Hesse, his father, was a well-known legal draftsman, and Mary Akuokor Chinery-Hesse (née Blay), his mother, was an accomplished diplomat and the first female Under Secretary General in UN history."Young Herman"Herman was raised in Ghana and spent his early years in the care of his extended family in Jamestown, where he formed a strong bond with his roots," it went on.
He first attended Ridge Church School before moving on to Mfantsipim School, where he laid the groundwork for his future foray into technology and business.Herman immigrated to the US in 1982 and went to Westlake High School in Texas.
