A group of armed men reportedly broke into the METRO TV and attempted to force their way into the Good Morning Ghana studio. According to Randy Abbey, the show's presenter, the incident forced them to take an abrupt break, and viewers could still hear the disturbance during their live broadcast.
"You realized that we had an abrupt break, we actually took a break," Randy Abbey said during the Good Morning Ghana live broadcast. "Maybe you can still hear some noise out there, it has to do with some armed men, armed policemen, and other persons who were trying to forcibly enter the studio here."
"They were attempting to enter the studio by force, and our private security is attempting to stop them, and a couple of them are hurt," he continued. "We do not know what it is for."
"We are here with some police men, but I don't know why they are here and why they forcibly wanted to enter this particular studio in the middle of a live show," Randy Abbey added. "I am sure our people have tried to reach the police."
