Bryan Acheampong, the minister of agriculture, has issued a warning against violence of any kind during the 2024 elections, particularly in the Eastern Region.
He claims that because the area is reinforced, anyone who intends to incite violence should reconsider their choice.
"We will deal with anyone who tries to incite violence and stir up chaos in order to sabotage our electoral victory. Anyone who comes here and incites violence will face a clash, he said, adding that the area is under lockdown.
The party supporters in attendance were reassured by Bryan Acheampong that the NPP is winning the election.
"I have consistently stated that the NPP will win the 2024 elections and that we will not cede power to the NDC whenever I have run for office. Today, I reaffirm my belief that we are winning the election. “I can guarantee you that we have implemented measures to guarantee our triumph in the forthcoming election,” he stated.
