Gory accident claims three lives in Ashanti Region

A horrific crash at Adanwomaso in the Kwabre East Municipality of the Ashanti Region has left three dead and two others fighting for their lives.

The fatal head-on collision occurred between a speeding bullion van and a Kia truck loaded with cement bags.

Among the four occupants of the bullion van—including two police officers—only the driver survived the crash.

An eyewitness, Efo Mawusi, reported that the bullion van swerved into the opposite lane, colliding with the oncoming Kia truck.

“Both drivers sustained severe injuries, and the vehicles were completely mangled,” he said.

Mawusi noted that this was the first major accident on the Bonwire-Adanwomaso road since its reconstruction.
