Following the horrific accident at East Legon that killed two little children, Kofi Amoah, a social worker, has reported having trouble sleeping.
As a father of a 15-year-old daughter who shares the deceased girls' vivid dreams, he claims that the accident still haunts him.
Following the controversy surrounding the whereabouts of Elrad Salifu Amoako, the suspected driver, Mr. Amoah made these statements on Adom FMs.
"My child is fifteen years old. Two youngsters have died from burns. This thing is haunting me; I can't sleep. I've been to the facility, so the police should just come and find out where the boy is. If anyone can argue with me, they should come out.
"I didn't go there to inquire about the son of Salifu Amoako. My sole purpose for going there was to gather information. He said, "I just want the police to come out with the facts, but I'm not pursuing any interest."
A Juvenile Court in Accra on Friday, remanded the 16-year-old, who is the son of Bishop Salifu Amoako, following the accident on October 12.
The court also ordered the seizure of his American and Ghanaian passports to prevent any risk of flight.
Elrad, according to the police, was in custody at the Osu Correctional Centre, but Mr. Amoah challenged that, stating he was supposed to be at the Boys Remand Home.
In a Facebook post with the username , he indicated he visited the facility and no one had been received.
However, the police have labeled these claims as false and warned that publishing such misinformation violates the law under Section 208 of the Criminal Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29).
To this effect, he is currently being pursued to face justice.
Mr. Amoah has, however, said he does not have any problem with the Ghana Police but smells something fishy in the case.
He stated that he has helped the police carry out their duties on multiple times and that he is willing to appear in court or anywhere else as long as the victims and their families receive justice. A number of serious allegations, including manslaughter, negligently inflicting hurt, risky driving, and driving without a valid license, are against Elrad in connection with the collision.
