Popular television personality Afia Pokua, often known as Vim Lady, has praised President John Dramani Mahama's recent appointments, calling them as a manifestation of his admiration for loyalty and dedication.

On her Gyaso Gyaso program, which was broadcast live on social media, Vim Lady praised Mahama for acknowledging people who supported him during his opposition.

"President Mahama has demonstrated that he cherishes loyalty. "He has rewarded the hardworking individuals who stuck with him through difficult times," she said.

She cited Abeiku Santana's nomination as Deputy Minister-designate for Tourism as an example of Mahama's great judgment.

"Abeiku Santana's appointment is well-deserved. It demonstrates that Mahama does not overlook people who support him. "This is the type of leadership that strengthens a party," she said.

Vim Lady went on to say that if Mahama continues to display such traits while effectively leading the country, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will remain dominant and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in opposition for a long time.

"If Mahama continues to work like this, the NDC will be in power for a long time." "The NPP will struggle to return," she stated.

She accused President Nana Akufo-Addo of favoring friends and relatives in his appointments while ignoring the party's core members.

"Akufo-Addo's government has been about family and friends, ignoring the real party people who worked for him," she said.

In her opinion, Mahama's approach to government and appointments is more praiseworthy, setting a standard that appeals to both party supporters and the wider public.
