Upon arrival, Alfred and Peter Mahama exchanged warm greetings with family members and traditional leaders, later sharing a light-hearted moment with Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe. Their attendance was a touching gesture of support for their sister and the bereaved family.

A viral video from the funeral captured the brothers interacting warmly with mourners, earning admiration online for their dignified presence and their role as respected elders in the Mahama family. At one point, Ibrahim Mahama was seen questioning a mourner who waited outside just to greet him, urging them to join the main gathering instead.
