President-Elect John Dramani Mahama has started a diplomatic trip of surrounding nations to strengthen regional ties in advance of his inauguration on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

Mr. Mahama emphasised the significance of developing closer ties within the West African subregion during a visit with President Faure Gnassingbé of Togo.
