The Asante Nation, a pro-Manhyia social media platform, claims that Otumfuo Kyeame Antwi Boasiako revealed Nana Kwasi Bosomprah's passing at the December 16, 2024, Asanteman Council meeting.

According to pro-Manhyia news site opemsuo.com, which confirmed the paramount chief's death, Bosomprah's passing was announced when the Asanteman Council met to decide on a few cases.

The Goasomanhene was a member of the committee looking into the Tanoso Stool Affairs, one of the cases.

There was a hole left by the chief's death, as opemsuo.com noted, and a replacement was urgently needed.

Reports state that the paramount chief has been ill for a while.

The Electoral Commission of Ghana and other state agencies, as well as the current Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo administration, have been openly criticized by Nana Kwasi Bosomprah.

After he publicly sobbed at the lack of progress in his community, the Goasomanhene made headlines.

He recently reprimanded pastors and chiefs for lying about the situation in the nation.

In 2008, Nana Kwasi Bosomprah was appointed Goaso's paramount chief.
