Popular Nollywood actress dies after surgery

Nigerian actress and social media influencer Nimota Adesanya, better known as Nimmy Ferrari, has reportedly passed away. Her death was announced by fellow actors on social media, with colleague Kemisola Kemity Apesin among those who shared heartfelt tributes on Instagram. According to online reports, Nimmy died from complications related to a fibroid surgery she had undergone.

The loss has been especially devastating for those close to her, as the actress was reportedly on the verge of celebrating a significant personal milestone. She had just completed building a house in Sagamu, Ogun State, and was actively planning a housewarming ceremony to mark the achievement.

Colleagues have remembered Nimmy as a hardworking actress who was steadily carving out a name for herself in Nollywood and gaining well-deserved recognition. She has since been laid to rest according to Islamic rites—poignantly, at the very house in Sagamu where she had hoped to host her celebration.
