The Chairman of the Central Regional NPP dies

Robert Kutin Junior, the chairman of the Central Regional New Patriotic Party (NPP), has died.

According to reports, Mr. Kutin was declared deceased on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at around 10:00 p.m. in Accra.

He had been fighting an unidentified ailment for the previous seven months when he passed away.

Isaac Mensah, also known as Mr. Blankon, the Central Regional Communications Officer, verified the unexpected incident to Adom News.

He clarified that Mr. Kutin's poor health prevented him from participating in the 2024 election campaign.

After defeating Joseph Kobina Essibu in 2022, the late Robert Kutin Junior was able to hold onto his post as Central Regional Chairman.
