Kwame Osei, a well-known member of Ghana's business sector, was found dead on the side of the road in Cantonments, a busy neighborhood of Accra, early Thursday morning, according to GHOne TV today.

Authorities are rushing to determine the circumstances surrounding his premature death after the unexpected discovery sent shockwaves across the country.

The 42-year-old businessman was last seen alive late Wednesday night. He was renowned for his revolutionary contributions to the real estate industry.

Near a dirt path next to a busy road, his body was discovered at around 6:30 a.m., according to witnesses. Shortly before the discovery, there were reports of a car rushing away from the scene, which sparked suspicions of foul activity.

The police cordoned off the area after witnesses who discovered the body alerted them right away. In an effort to find clues or suspects, investigators are now examining CCTV footage from surrounding businesses.

Suspicions of a targeted attack were strengthened when a police source disclosed that Kwame's body bore obvious indications of violence.

The source stated, "We are taking into account every option." It might have been an attempted robbery or something more planned. Anyone with information is encouraged to come forward.

“We need answers. We want to know who did this and why,” she said through tears.

Colleagues and friends from Ghana’s business community have expressed shock and grief over the loss of a man many regarded as a visionary.

Osei was known not just for his entrepreneurial spirit but also for his philanthropy, often working to uplift underprivileged communities.

“I’ve known Kwame for years. He was a hardworking, kind soul who always looked out for others. This is an unbearable loss,” said a close associate.
