Thomas Partey has been formally accused of rape by the Metropolitan Police.

Following a review of evidence submitted by detectives, the Crown Prosecution Service has approved the Metropolitan Police to press charges against a suspect.

Thomas Partey, 32 (DOB: 13/06/1992), from Hertfordshire, has been formally charged in connection with multiple alleged offences, including five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.

The incidents are said to have occurred between 2021 and 2022."
