Will Free SHS End or Continue? Finally, as president, John Mahama reveals his plans for free SHS.

The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, has finally spoken out over the discussions Nana Addo and his administration conducted in Ghana regarding the free senior high school project. News that Mahama and the NDC intend to disband the free SHS if they are elected to power has already started to circulate among Ghanaians. John Mahama responded to this message by addressing the problem and informing Ghanaians of his plans to address it.

John Mahama informed the Clergies meeting that while the free SHS policy will remain in place, their government is prepared to improve it upon its current state whenever it is elected. He urged the attendees and Ghanaians to understand that the online stories about them halting the free SHS are merely propaganda meant to help them lose votes.

"Free shs began during my tenure in office, but it was somewhat different from what it is today. We began the strategy gradually, beginning with Ghana's poorest and least privileged neighborhoods with the goal of expanding it over time. I therefore question why individuals believe that we will outlaw our own concepts. Everything was going smoothly until the NPP defeated us in the 2016 elections. Then, as we can see today, they came and converted the progressive free shs to complete shs, which is obviously awful. John Mahama stated, "We have better plans regarding this project."

In order to gather feedback on how to enhance and provide high-quality education, Mr. Mahama announced that, in his capacity as president, he would host a stakeholder conference with the nation's leading educational experts and parents.
