The legal clash between Evangelist Patricia Asiedu (Agradaa) and gospel artist Empress Gifty has taken an unexpected spiritual dimension.

Empress Gifty had initially sued Agradaa for GH¢20 million over defamation claims, but the feud has since spiraled beyond the courtroom, even dragging Empress Gifty’s husband into the drama.

Agradaa turned her focus to Hopeson Adorye, intensifying the conflict. Now, the battle has shifted from legal to spiritual warfare.

In a viral video posted on May 25, 2025, Agradaa was seen performing a ritual targeting Adorye’s political career. She placed his photographs inside a toilet bowl, dousing them with spiritual oils while declaring that his influence in politics would be destroyed.

“Hopeson Adorye, with this oil, I have stripped away your political power. From today, you will become irrelevant. The authority you used to attack me—spreading lies on radio and even encouraging people to assault me—I have buried your political future in the toilet. My curse will make Ghanaians disregard you. Politically, you are now nothing,” she proclaimed.

In response, Adorye fired back on social media, brushing off her curses. He claimed he avoids spiritual warfare but warned that any attacks against him would be met with an unstoppable counter.

“I don’t seek trouble or harm anyone, which is why I don’t engage in spiritual battles. But if you send negativity my way, I will send it back—and once I do, no one can undo it. Remember what I’ve said,” he declared.
