One person has been killed following the bees attack
A tragic incident in Kpandai has left one person dead following a bee attack on supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
According to multiple reports, the attack occurred on Sunday, December 15, 2025, shortly after a political campaign event in the area.
"One person has been confirmed dead following a bee attack on supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Kpandai District after a campaign programme on Sunday, December 14," a post shared on the X page of Peace FM on Monday, December 15, 2025, read.
The victim, identified as a local chief, was riding a motorbike when a swarm of bees reportedly descended on him.
Although he tried to escape, he was fatally beaten by the bees.
The event comes at a time of heightened political activities in Kpandai, where the Electoral Commission has scheduled a parliamentary election rerun for Tuesday, December 30, 2025.

The rerun follows a High Court decision that annulled the results of the 2024 parliamentary election due to irregularities in the vote collation process.
The upcoming contest is expected to feature New Patriotic Party candidate Matthew Nyinadam and NDC parliamentary candidate Daniel Nsala Wakpal.
