12 dead in fatal Tarkwa-Nsuaem accident

Twelve people have been confirmed dead in a fatal accident on the Tarkwa-Nsuaem road in the Western region on Monday.

The dead includes the headmistress of Prestea Bondai Basic School, Cynthia Arthur.

According to reports, the Mercedez Benz articulator enroute to Takoradi in a bid to avoid a broken down articulated truck in the middle of the Tarkwa-Nsuaem road veered off from its lane and collided with a mini Hyundai bus killing all the twelve passengers on board.

All the dead bodies have been deposited at the Effia-Nkwanta hospital.
