13th Annual Ghanaian-Canadian Awards nite in Toronto

The 13th Annual Ghanaian-Canadian Achievement Awards Dinner and Dance, will be held on Sunday September 22, 2013 at 65 Claireport Convention and Banquet Hall, (Albion/Steeles) in (Etobicoke) Toronto.at 5:00p.m The Event Dubbed “Tribute to our Achievers” was instituted by The Ghanaian News to recognize and honor individual Ghanaian-Canadians and groups who have excelled or achieved honors in their fields of endeavor.

The 35 recognition awards will be in the following areas: ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE, PROFESSIONAL EXCELLENCE, RELIGION, CULTURAL PROMOTION, COMMUNITY SERVICES, BUSINESS, GOSPEL MUSIC, ENTERTAINMENT and SPORTS.

It’s expected that hundreds of enthusiastic Ghanaian community members and well-wishers from all over Canada will gather on the evening of September 22nd, 2013 at the said venue to recognize outstanding achievers in the community. Dignitaries who will be attending the expected mammoth gathering will include some members of the African Diplomatic Corps and representatives from the Municipal, Provincial and Federal levels, community leaders, cultural groups, church members and the general public.

There will be an interlude of African cultural Display, and music by various groups.

There will be a fashion show presented by BENI BOO STYLE STUDIO. FEEELING BROTHER FRANCIS will also entertain the guests. RICHGOLD ODISHIE KWAKU’S new CD inauguration at the Awards Night, as a bonus, everyone attending the Event will receive a free gospel CD from RICHGOLD ODISHIE KWAKU.

In all 40,000 CDs have been produced and all giving out for free across Canada, USA, South Africa and Ghana. Watch out for Odishie Kwaku’s full upcoming Album featuring South African best worshipers

A modest fee of $50 per person is being charged at the Gate. Block Table purchases of 10 persons (reserved) per table for $400 is also available on request.. .
