2 Members of Atomic Energy Commission sworn in

Accra, Oct. 30, GNA- President John Agyekum Kufuor on Thursday, called on members of the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission (GAEC) to use their deep knowledge in Atomic Sciences to make it beneficial to Ghana. He said Atomic Sciences could be put to good use for development and urged them to contribute their best commitment to Ghana.
President Kufuor made the call when he administered the oaths of office and secrecy to two members of the Commission at the Castle, Osu. They were Professor Edward H.A.K. Akaho and Dr Delphina Aba Adabie-Gomez.
Dr Adabie-Gomez said they would co-operate with the other members of the Commission to make the needed impact on the economy. She pledged that the Commission would promote the development of atomic energy to sciences, agriculture, industry and other sectors of the economy.
Present was Alhaji Aliu Mahama, Vice President.
