The old saying goes that necessity is the mother of invention. A prime example of this was when Jabulo Ndlovu and Vusi Musi struggled to complete their homework as a result of load-shedding.
The two grade 6 learners, therefore, decided to invent a lighting bag, which could light up without electricity.
The pair showed off their brilliant invention at the Eskom Expo for young scientists.
