ExLA Group has declared the Year 2020, a Year of Mental Revolution for Africa as part of its movement to secure a more sustainable future for the continent.

Currently, the continent is filled with the youngest population in the world; a potential which if managed well could be a great blessing to the continent and the world at large.

Yet, due to fundamental thought patterns which seem to limit the average African man or woman, progress becomes stunted.

A number of Africans have been on a never ending journey of trying to emancipate themselves from mental slavery caused by different factors including colonisation, unhealthy cultural practices among others.

The tragedy of this quest is that they are more individualistic than collective in nature, therefore, there is a challenge of finding a place for the “enlightened” individual to express his/her new traits.

ExLA Group, over the years, has been on a journey to promote quality leadership in Ghana and Africa as a whole in a multi-dimensional approach. So far, we have trained and empowered thousands of young people across Africa through our corporate training programmes, leadership seminars and conferences, empowerment programmes and our most distinctive Awards schemes.

The Young African Women Congress (YAWC) Network, is engaging and empowering women by helping to reshape and change negative thought patterns through its “meet and greet” sessions at sectoral and country levels.

This year, ExLA Group is on a daunting task of a mental revolution on the continent. A mission to shake the foundations of what is believed and what is held in high esteem. We believe the greatness of Africa will emerge with a mental revolution.

The mental revolution will basically be in the form of a movement that will challenge the assertion that Africa is a third world country.

Through the Young African Women Congress (YAWC) this year, young women will be sensitised to change negative narratives of a backward continent to one that is full of potentials.

"Consequently, a brand new forum will be launched to begin a long existing conversation on the Africa we want in a totally brand new way. A conversation which is an action on the go. Nonetheless, our commitment as an organisation towards our clients and our ultimate vision is to deliver on our promises, to reach to the grassroots, the tenets of good leadership and the practicality of its effect on growth and development. The drive to achieve and the resilience to sustain and improve on the progress we make lies in our motto: It’s Possible, Keep Pushing."

"We therefore wish all our clients and stakeholders; a Happy New Year and we look forward to attaining endless possibilities together in a revolutionised manner."
