Koku Anyidoho has warned members of the NDC to be mindful of their utterances about former President John Rawlings as they prepare for the 2020 elections.

He said attacks at Mr Rawlings during the electioneering will not be countenanced.

“Don’t turn the founder of the NDC into a spitting bowl. And here I’m referring to members of the NDC and even to the leadership of the party. As they prepare their message for 2020, let nobody insult the founder of the NDC because it will not be countenanced,” he warned while speaking on the Morning Starr Monday.

The former director of communications at the Presidency also stressed insults at leaders of the country is unhealthy and must be shunned.

“Let me also say that this goes to all the leaders, nobody should insult the sitting President, nobody should insult President Mahama and nobody should insult former President Kufuor. The fact is, insults do not build nations and it must not be encouraged in nation-building”.

He however, refused to answer a question on whether the Akufo-Addo government should be voted out in the 2020 polls.

According to him, he is a consultant to various political parties across the world and will therefore not put himself in the position to compromise his work.

When asked by Morning Starr host Francis Abban if the NPP should be voted out next year, he said: “I’m a consultant for various political parties and I am working across all political divide and doing job for various political parties now. And so I won’t say anything that will affect my talk on Saturday. I told you I’m billed for a talk so I need to be mindful of that. I consult for many political parties now”.

He, however, noted that the NPP government will not be able to deliver on all their promises before the 2020 elections.
