Three women have officially entered the race for the 2024 presidential elections, Akua Donkor, the leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Janet Nabla, Flagbearer of the People’s National Party (PNP), and Nana Frimpomaa Sarpong Kumankumah the Flagbearer of the Convention People's Party (CPP)
The three submitted their nomination forms at the headquarters of the Electoral Commission (EC) on Thursday, September 12, 2024, according to a report by citinewsroom.com.
During the submission, Akua Donkor reaffirmed her commitment to addressing the concerns of the public and driving meaningful change, whilst Janet Nabla urged the Commission to digitalise the filing process to reduce the stress candidates go through.
Nana Frimpomaa Kumankumah, on the other hand, stated that the CPP would eradicate poverty and restore the hope of Ghanaians if elected into office.
