B. T. Baba, the Member of Parliament for Talensi Constituency, has expressed strong confidence that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will win with a significant margin in the upcoming December 7th elections.
He attributed this anticipated success to the pro-poor interventions he has introduced since winning the Talensi seat in 2016.
Mr. Baba, who opted not to contest the parliamentary primaries, has gracefully stepped down to support Daniel Mahama Dung as the NDC's parliamentary candidate for Talensi.
During the NDC's National Campaign Tour in the Talensi Constituency, Baba announced his commitment to a vigorous door-to-door and house-to-house campaign until the last ballot is counted.
He emphasized his determination to ensure both the NDC's victory and Daniel Mahama Dung's success in securing the parliamentary seat.
The legislator underscored the importance of unity among NDC members and supporters within the constituency.
He further urged everyone to work together and not underestimate their opponents, emphasizing the need for concerted efforts to secure a win.
"We must remain united and focused. Our pro-poor initiatives have made a significant impact, and we need to continue this momentum. Our opponents are not to be underestimated, and we will do everything reasonably possible to win this seat," Baba stated.
