The Majority Leader and Member of Parliament for the Effutu constituency, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has disclosed the NPP's strategic policies and plans to ensure victory for the party in the upcoming December 7 general elections in the Central region.

According to a report by 3news.com, the lawmaker, while expressing his confidence, said that the NPP will successfully secure at least 14 parliamentary seats in the region.

"Mark this down, the NPP will get at least 14 seats in the Central Region. I said that in December, God-willing, the NPP will get at least 14 seats. Come December 2024, the NPP will get at least 14 seats in the Central Region," he is reported to have declared during an interview with 'Yen Nsempa' host Nana Yaa Brefo on July 3, 2024.

Reiterating the party's commitment and dedication to breaking the 8, Afenyo Markin noted that their policies will convince voters to cast their ballots for the NPP flagbearer.

"We will work hard and diligently to ensure this. We will explain our policies to the people, and with God's grace, the promise of at least 14 seats will be fulfilled," he affirmed.

"It will all be hard work, prayers, guided and calculated steps," he added.
