The Black Stars are set to begin preparations for their final two 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers by opening camp on Sunday, November 10, 2024.
The team will focus on securing vital points in their bid to qualify for the continental tournament.
Players who featured for their clubs are expected to join the camp on the scheduled date to kickstart preparations for the upcoming matches.
Ghana's penultimate qualifier is scheduled for Friday, November 15, 2024, against Angola at the Estádio 11 de Novembro in Luanda.
Just three days later, the Black Stars will close out their campaign at home, hosting Niger at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, November 18, 2024.
Currently in third place in Group F with just two points from four matches, Ghana face a tough challenge to secure qualification.
They trail second-placed Sudan by five points and are 10 points behind group leaders Angola.
With their fate no longer in their own hands, the Black Stars must win both of their remaining matches while relying on Sudan to drop points in order to have any hope of advancing.
A single point for Sudan in their final fixtures would extinguish Ghana’s chances of reaching the AFCON for the first time in 20 years.
