President John Dramani Mahama has declared that Ghana’s economy is regaining stability and credibility.
Delivering the 2026 State of the Nation Address on Friday, February 27, 2026, he gave the assurance that his government has taken sound policy measures that are producing positive results.

“I promised then that just as I have confronted and overcome crises in the past, I will reset our economy and return us to a path of growth, progress and development.
“Today, Mr Speaker, I can say to you with confidence Ghana is back. Ghana is working again and Ghana is open for business,” he declared.
President Mahama reaffirmed his government's commitment to reforms aimed at strengthening macroeconomic stability, attracting investment and improving living conditions.
