Sunyani Thirty people have filed their nominations to contest the forthcoming district assembly bye-elections at the close of nominations in the Brong Ahafo region. Only one of them is a woman - Ms Martha Osei-Wusu. They are contesting nine vacant seats in six districts in the region. Mr. Yahya Mohamed, deputy regional director of the electoral commission who disclosed this to the Ghana News Agency at Sunyani, said of all the districts, Sunyani registered the highest number of ten contestants vying for three seats followed by Atebubu where eight people are contesting three seats.
