5 mind-boggling equipment at the Kantanka exhibition

The 39th edition of the Kristo Asafo Mission of Ghana's annual Technology and Agricultural Exhibition came off in Accra on Sunday, December 29, 2019.

The exhibition saw an outdoor of an aeroplane-like vehicle by the Kantanka Technological Centre of Excellence (KTCE).

The car-plane was the flagship invention or product showcased on the day, but there was also an exhibition of other equipment from the Kantanka Group.

One of such was the armoured personnel carrier/missile launcher named Okofo?.

Speaking at the event, special guest, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia said the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government was pleased with the remarkable achievements chalked by Apostle Prof. Ing. Kwadwo Safo, Founder and leader of the Kristo Asafo Mission.

He lauded the contributions of Apostle Kwadwo Safo, especially in the areas of agriculture, technological development, and industrialisation in Ghana.

He also noted that government is constructing 20 state of the art TVET institutions in all regions to ensure that technical and vocational education is a major component of Ghana’s educational curriculum.

“There is also a $130 million project for the construction of training workshops for 5 polytechnics and technical universities together with 10 technical institutes in areas such as mechanical engineering, automobile engineering, civil engineering, welding engineering and others,” Dr. Bawumia said at the event in Accra.
