The Flagbearer of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Nana Akosua Frimpomaa Sarpong Kumankumah, has urged the electorates to vote for the party in the pending elections, promising meaningful change in the country.

In a recent interview on Channel One TV, she pointed out that many Ghanaians are finding it increasingly difficult to afford three meals a day amidst the current economic crisis, including the high cost of food and rent.

She criticised the two major political parties, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC), for their roles in the ongoing economic challenges and pledged to tackle these pressing issues by focusing on economic independence, affordable housing, and universal access to potable water if elected into office.

“There’s also the same truth that the big parties are the ones who have squandered our money, they are the very reason why you and I are in debt. They are the reason kenkey is selling for GH¢10. They are the reason why the young person cannot even pay for decent accommodation and a decent living," she stated.

She further reiterated the party's vision for transformation that aligns with the aspirations of many Ghanaians who desire a new era of leadership that prioritizes citizens' welfare and the nation's development.

“With the CPP's rich history and legacy, we are poised to make a significant impact in the upcoming elections and bring about the transformation that Ghana needs,” she stated.

The party also plans to revitalise the economy, improve education, healthcare, and promote transparency and accountability in governance if voted into office.
