5th MSA week postponed till further notice

The much anticipated Medical Students’ Week which was scheduled to commence from tomorrow has been postponed until further notice. In a letter signed by the MSA Secretary Miss Phyllis Elorm Kukah Afi for the President Mr Nathan and addressed to members of the Association, the reason for the postponement was attributed to the rising cases of covid-19 Coronavirus cases in Ghana.

However, the Dean of the School of Medicine is yet to address students on the main reasons for postponing in a meeting scheduled for tomorrow.

“This is to encourage social distancing as much as possible; one of the effective ways of preventing transmission of Coronavirus,” said the Secretary of the Medical Students’ Association of the University of Health and Allied Sciences.

We hope that soon we can recoup and continue our week celebration as planned.
