6-year-old girl killed for rituals at Adiembra

A 6-year-old school girl has been kidnapped and killed for rituals at Adiembra near Dompim in the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipality of the Western Region, Police investigators revealed that the tongue of the deceased identified as Cecilia Cobbinah had been removed by the suspected murderers.

According to the police, father of the deceased claimed he went to farm leaving behind his three children at home. Later that day, one of the children run to him at the farm and inform him that two men came to the house at the village and kidnapped her younger sister Cecilia Cobbinah and taken her to unknown place.

The complainant and the latter rushed to the village and conducted a search around the village and found Cecilia Cobbinah dead with a deep cut on her throat after which an official complaint was lodged.
