80-year-old commits suicide

Twifo-Praso (C/R), Dec. 15, GNA - The decomposed body of Egya Atta, an 80-year old farmer, was on Wednesday found hanging from a rope on a tree, on his farm.

Mr Stephen Delarport, Twifo-Heman-Lower-Denkyira District Police Commander, told the GNA that the deceased left for his farm two weeks ago but failed to return.

He said upon a tip-off, his relatives went to his farm and found his decomposed body hanging from a tree. The District Police Commander said the body had since been buried.
