‘Honeymoon over for NPP’

ASHANTI Regional Minister, Mr Sampson Kwaku Boafo, has said the honeymoon is over for the government.

He said after celebrating the 44th anniversary of the country’s independence, it is time to begin serious business towards transforming the vision of the NPP into reality.

Mr Boafo was speaking at a reception for a cross-section of residents of Kumasi at the residency on Tuesday to mark the Independence anniversary celebration.

He said it is also time for all Ghanaians to play their part in addressing the problems that confront the nation.

He said problems that would be brought before him and the regional administration would be treated with despatch.

Mr Boafo called on the public for support to transform the Kumasi Metropolis and other parts of the region to suit the expectations of the people.

He gave the assurance that he would be faithful and truthful to the people and take decisions when the need arises to deal with problems that confront the region.
