Deputy General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Obiri Boahen has described the Member of Parliament for Sagnerigu constituency, Hon. A.B.A Fuseini as a 'notorious loose talker'.
He says he doesn't expect the Member of Parliament to speak like that because he represents a section of Ghanaians in Parliament.
Speaking on Okay FM's 'Ade Akye Abia' programme, the astute lawyer took a swipe at the MP for some comments he made about the decision of Rockson Bukari to resign over a leaked audio involving Starrfm's Upper East regional correspondent, Edward Adeti and the former Minister of State.
Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini who was incensed with distasteful words on NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’, claimed the Nana Addo-led government is using Northerners in his administration as ‘scapegoats’ to protect others.
An allegation he refused to retract, he maintained that government’s ‘strategic defense’ on why the Inter-Ministerial Committee Executive Secretary on small-scale mining, Mr Charles Bissue is still at post after his role in a galamsey fraud is “useless”.
“This government thinks we [Ghanaians] are fools to believe all the trash they are telling us . . .That man [Charles Bissue] is still in office, they didn't ask him to go. What he did is worse than Rockson Bukari . . . some other person they will carry him out of office because he is from the northern part of the country,” he alleged.
But Obiri Boahen believes the MP's statement were in bad taste and that he does not expect a Member of Parliament who commands respect from the public to talk like a serial caller.
