Musician, social media influencer and Ruling New Patriotic Party activist Kwame Asare Obeng popularly known as APLUS has built ten (10) boreholes for some select deprived communities in need of water and will soon be commissioning them.

According to the owner of newly-created APLUS TV, many people ask him what he has contributed to Ghana, without knowing some of the things he does to try and offer relief to people in pain or in need.

The ace anti-corruption crusader has catalogued some other fundraising drives he led from social media to give hope to total strangers hit by catastrophe, revealing it is his own way of contributing to development. MyNewsGh.com’s approximation of the support hits about Ghc200,000 cedis including Ghc40,000 support APLus and his social media team raised for a boy with hole-in-heart to undergo surgery.

The list includes various amounts APlus raised for a Widow in Mampong who lost her entire family (All her children, her parents and husband) to fire.

APLUS also assisted a boy knocked down by a car and lost his leg as a result to get artificial prosthetic legs and to helped him foot his bills.

The NPP activist also raised funds to support veteran popular actor Jaga Pee undergo surgery.

Kwame ApLus has again through his fundraising helped a poor widow at Adansi Fumso open a shop to cater for herself and her children when news emerged that her two orphaned kids wear the same tattered school uniform in shift.

Commenting on these charity drives, Mr Asare Obeng said it is his own way of contributing to the development of Ghana when he is able to get his social media friends and followers to raise money for a good cause.

“You don’t pay your tax to me Kwame A Plus or any of the members of The Ghana National Association of Talkative, I’m not the President of Ghana. However, we have been able to come together to contribute our own money and time to the development of this country.”

“So don’t come on Facebook and ask stupid questions like what have you contributed to this country? Those your stupid questions is the reason why when people do charity they take a picture to show to the world.”

“And who said criticizing the government is not a form of contribution to nation building? Some of you are very stupid. Stop fooling!! Agyimifo?!! We are only asking the government to make our lives better. You can also ask the government to kill you. That is your fucking problem. Have you been able to dig even a hole so that your village chief who shit basabasa to shit inside? Fools!!! Moagyimigyimi dodo….” he added.
