A/R: One more killed in Kumasi by robbers

A 42-year-old man has been gunned down by robbers at Kotwe, on the Obuasi road in Kumasi in the Ashanti region, Deputy Ashanti regional Police PRO ACP Ampofo Duku confirmed to Starr News.

According to Police sources, the robbers broke into the deceased's home at about 3am Wednesday dawn and shot him in the thigh, after which he was stabbed to death.

It is unclear if the robbers took away any valuables. The Police have since commenced investigation into the matter.

This is the umpteenth time robbers have killed individuals in Kumasi in recent times. The Police have responded to the situation by dispatching a special force to the region to control the affairs.
