Accra, Sept.11 GNA - AFA Foundation, a Christian Development Non- Governmental Organisation has sent condolences to the people of America, their neighbours, allies, and the families of all who perished in the September 11, terrorist attack on the World Trade Centre and Pentagon three years ago.
A statement issued in Accra on Saturday and signed by Mr. Kofi Lucas, Founder of the NGO said, "the loss, regrets, and all the unforgettable moments that the attack has left behind would undoubtedly remain a history for all Americans and the whole world community."
The statement called on all peace-loving individuals, corporate bodies and the world community in general to fight all manner of perpetration of violence-civil wars, human right abuse and terrorism.
" As we commemorate this day with painful memories, we pray the world community, especially regions that have been bedevil with ceaseless socio-politico economic crises to give peace a chance through mutually beneficial negotiations, high level diplomacy and international relations-through the United Nations with its numerous regional and sub-regional bodies," the statement said
